Default little less than 175 at the crank does that sound right for my setup?

I ran against a new bwm coverable 2 door automatic. We were side by side the till around mid 70's when I decieded it wasnt worth it :-). Anyway I'm pretty sure the smallest engine they make is 175hp. So I figure that puts me at a little less than 175 since I have a stick. Here are my mods.

d16y8 on a p28 ecu with 450cc injectors w/ fields and 5psi. I'm currrently working on slapping on my dsm intercooler so I can up the boost. on a Del Sol "s" body

not really, have you ever heard of power to wieght ratio. Your going to be lighter than the BMW which means he would have had more power to keep up with the lighter car. It wouldnt be that much, give or take 15-20 H.P only because its hard to judge how much power you have just because you stayed with a 175 H.P car. You have to take wieght into consideration.

thats true too. I beat a 200hp Intrepid once, doesnt mean I have near that much, just means I am half the weight

I just took a 315 hp 'stang... woohooo.. Guess I've got around 320.. when in fact I've only got about 180 (flywheel).

Power to weight, gearing, and traction. Of these three important factors, who can guess which one I'm having trouble with?

Lay off fellas.. When one points out the flaw in his thinking we do not need to proceed to berrate him.
