is that an old tbird turbo? does it spool pretty quick on the motor? Hold to redline.. what software/hardware u using for the tune? 12 psi? thats a respectable number, i ran 12psi with that exact same turbo on a b16 setup... it had a little kick to it...

the car feels naturally asperated. It is near instant spool. In between gears, the gauge reads vac then right to 10psi. It does look like it spools, it is just there. The car is running a rough tune on chrome so he is not beating on it too much. He wants to lower the boost to under 10psi on stock internals. Apparently the injectors were hitting 100% duty cycle on the dyno. So they did not really tune it. Like i said before with looking for the external wastegate to hold a steady boost and then tune it when that is finished.

He does not need to drive during the week as we all walk to classes. So it will be alright on a basemap for a while.

Maybe because not everyone has a digital video camera or a digital camera with video. You know not everyone can affor them .

I have one, but I know most people don't

By the way it looks nice, clean and solid. Is it a 4dr or a 2dr. I wanted to get a 2dr ex, but the deal didn't work out.

my roomate posted up all the info for me, because i dont post on forums too much, but its my car

It's a 1995 2 dr 5 spd ex, got about 128k on the odo, so theres plenty of life left in it(hopefully)

once i get an external wg and retune, (will prolly stay on crome) i will auctually get to beat on it, but right now im driving pretty conservativly

i used the small turbo because i got it in a "premade accord kit" and didnt feel like changing it. I also didnt want a bunch of turbo lag, so i like it. When we were on the dyno, the turbo never really seemed to run out of breath. the f22b1 heads dont flow very good after like mid 5000 rpm anyways, so i think its stupid to have a huge turbo that dosent spool till like 3-3500. I've heard a million times that its too small for my engine, but whatever.

When i went to tune it, when vtec kicked in, it instantly spooled to like 12 psi, (even under very little throttle) making it super lean, so w the stock fpr, we ran out of duty cycle on the injectors. also hitting boost that fast made me a lil nervous with all stock internals. so we killed vtec for now. which sucks, bc it sounded sweet when all 4 valves opend up

all in all, i just wanted a nice increase in power, nothing to crazy and very reliable, so far im really happy w it, and once i get it completely finished, i think ill only like it more

-thanks for all urs guys support, like i said, i never really posted b4, bc i hate noob comments(which i prolly would have made), but i learned everything i needed to know just from looking around forums like this one
