military...USMC. im making pretty decent money over here. -and i got a free, brand new apartment to live in. (military pays for it) -just my wife and I. our life isnt to shabby over here, i accually really enjoy it. -the hours do suck though. i consider my "hours" for work, beginnning from the time i wake up till the time i walk in the door and be done for the day. (because I do nothing that isnt for work between that time) thats a 12 hour day. 45am- about ~5pm

If I break it down...I make about $12.00 an hour plus I get a free house (I only pay phone, internet, and TV) and 100% benifits which sucks real big donkey dick, but its "free"...
-I just figured this out...it had me courious

i'm a draftsman/technical illustrator for a government contractor. i make about 40k a year, plus benefits, paid holidays and two weeks paid vacation every year, not too bad for being 23 with no college degree basically we make the 'helms' manuals for the h-46 helicopter, h-60 helicopter, and c-130 plane's. i personally do the illustrations for the h-46 (exploded views, diagrams, etc.). i plan to open a new york style pizzeria in a year or so though. it's something i did as a teen ager for quite a few years and it's what i've always wanted to do and in about a year i'll be in a position to get one up and running. can't wait!

I was asked to switch jobs and be a C-130 crew cheif prior to comming to Okinawa, and there was a HUGE bonus (around $30g's) but there was about a years worth of schooling involved, and I had to go to POW school, bacially you go to a school where your taught how to escape POW camps, and you are also treated like a POW for 6 weeks. (its called cears school). Kinda wish I would have done it...but at the time, that cears school was a little to intimidating for me.
