I'm not sure how you know what my position is **** gobler when I dont even know what my own position is...basically I am just looking for answers to make a position.

What I found is that you can find things on the internet to make your case on either side...

The one link is the CDC and it was pretty neat to bring up actual stats there...

"better to be judged by twelve than carried by six"

ive been in a couple situations where i thought i was gonna have to use my gun, and one where i didnt have one (month before i was 21) where i would have shot someone had i been armed. spiker was there, its no fun to run from gunfire when some cambodian gangbanger starts shooting randomly and points a gun at you and your best friends. no one was hit but it could have been worse, hopefully there wont be a next time but you never know and thats why i carry.

The first page you sound like the lead prosecutor of people carrying guns. Not that I was trying to brush your knees, I was just pointing out to the non readers that the links seemed to contradict your statements, and that they should read them. Because....they assumed the links were anti-gun by your statements, and they weren't. (that I saw)

I love watching xeno call Steve a cockgobbler, and get an intelligent response. Total role reversal, haha.

I think my position is the following, I could give a fawk if someone wants to own a gun or two to defend themself. If you have thirty and you want to buy another ten by Xmas, you MIGHT have a problem and I think I want to gov't to tap your phones and follow you in unmarked black cars and maybe give you a slightly hard time when you try to buy an AK and register it as a handgun.

I think the right to bear arms is a good one, but like anything else it bring out the fanatics on both sides, Heston and his NRA nut swingers bother me, and its clear that both sides really like to distort the facts and the people that strongly believe in either side are either sheep or REALLY have their reasons for believing what they do.

I don't own a gun because I've never needed to...if I had one of those experiences, that might be a different story. I used to have guns in the house when I grew up, mom had a 22 rifle and I think something else. Both grandfathers hunted and one of them collected a couple OLD OLD guns, nothing crazy...but when I see the way some people talk about getting guns, carrying and whatever else on this site...it scares me.

i think we should have the govt track you and everything you do, and give you a hard time. if you use your first amendment god given right too much or how they don't like.

see the flaw in your argument? how about we punish people when they commit crimes, and not pass unconstitutional freedom and liberty stealing "preventative" laws

How the ---- did you do that? Theyre hard as ---- to get in CA. You need an insane reasonable clause to be approved or be paying them lots of money somehow. Anyways, if you want an AK, lemme know.
