Let me know if this is a good deal. (First time crx buyer) ZC inside
So i went down to take a look at it tonight. The dash is fucked up a little, climate control needs to be hooked up but it looks to be a mint unit, has aftermarket side skirts and rear bumper but it's not too bad or not too ricey, small dents on fender. Overall body is 8/10 but decent for a 20 year old car.
Motor (JDM ZC bitches) doesn't run as the plugs were fouled during the winter (im thinking new plugs will get it to run again) checked compression in 40* F and here's how it is 185 160 192 190. Right now the problem is too much fuel or just retarded owner who can't change spark plugs or set the spark plug wire order wrong on the cap.
Dude won't sell less than $1200, he's holding it for me until tomorrow i can come with a dolly and will tow it home if new plugs won't get it to run.
It's 1989 CRX Si, btw.
Im thinking 10 pounds of boost will do this motor right.

88dx, i'll let you know about the rear bumper if i get it.
Out every other crx that i see on CL, 1200 for this one is decent, every other cleanish crx like this is 2000+.
BTW: Interior is 8/10 right now, with a days worth of work it could be 10/10

If you really want it for $1,200, the best thing to do is to call him in the morning and tell him you like the car, but just can't justify it. Give him a couple seconds to an hour to come down on the price, and if he doesn't, call him back to say you've changed your mind and will pick it up. Play the fucken game, son.

already tried, he won't ------- go down at ALL. It was actually his son who put it up for 1250 in the ad, so he's dad is pissed at him for putting it for that much and won't drop anything over those $50. I got a HS welding competition in the morning, so I can only pick it up in the afternoon.
I could care less if the motor is shot a little, good core for a ZC turbo build.

and it has a clifford anti-theft system
And for the bad. The passenger side motor mount snapped and the motor is barely hanging in there would be a great donor car to make a hatch or another crx a great car. Its paint is faded and the body kit is alitle messed up.
