Legit loss?
OK..heres the deal. Im not a big racer, i mean i like to go out and pull on ricers and other nigs who think they have "sick" cars when i can, but im not the guy who is out like everyweekend just looking to race. Anyway, this past weekend i went out and was put up against a 93' civic hatch with a b18b swap running 6lbs through a 57 trim t3/t4. Im running 10 psi on a 42/48 t3 on the same engine, basically similar setups. I thought I would take him since his turbo isn't too much bigger than mine and i have more boost. Needless to say i didn't. He took off a little before me, not enough to really make an excuse of, and in the end had me by about a car length. Legit loss, or do i just suck at life? Both?

Re: Legit loss?
well since his turbo is smaller he probally built boost faster than u so he got a good jump on you, now if you rev'd up pretty high on the start then u probally would have got him, but still, he had a better turbo for say when it comes to track racing.......

Re: Legit loss?
i beat an old honda with alteezas tonight...non turbo 93 si bone stock....i kept pushing the gas and getting ahead then going to his speed then faster.....it was funny but i dont think he knew i was doing that...i think he thought he was starting to pulll.....but yea anyway i say its a legit loss....but you dont want him to be faster forever so get a bigger turbo build your motor more......beat him...why else do you build a fast car?
