Your only curse is stubborness. I know putting a b series tranny in an accord would be a lot harder than into a civic, but I'm sure it would be worth it.

Nope. Not even close. Not financially, not practically either... If it were a viable option, it would have been done alot sooner, the gears in the b series are physically smaller as well...

Stubborn-ness is what has kept me from selling the car previously, or was it denial... IDK... Anyways... The fucxked part is once I get it fixed tonight Im not going to WANT to sell it.

GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Stubbier gears are stronger, Spiker. This is why Bisi runs a CG trans from the 80s over his previously beloved "stronger than B-series" D-series boxes.

BTW, I know exactly what you are going through. You've put up with a LOT, 90% of ppl who've been down your path - people with experience at or above your level - would have quit twice by now and parted out the car.

There's a reason I only want 500 in a 2200 lb car, and I plan on parking it 29 days out of the month, only bringing it out often enough to remind everyone of their place. You see, two months after your car is gone, Spiker, people are going to act like it wasn't that fast and some intermediate level ---- that rolls out will get treated like it's the fastest streetcar to ever hit the streets. People shouldn't be allowed to be so ------- stupid.

Ya MikeEH93 or whatever on HT has a GREAT thread on that swap (CG) into his EG. THe fifth gear is physically OUTSIDE the case, the case acting like a handcuff without losing fifth gear as its outside the case with a pan cover on it... Very neat... He was demolishing trannys in my fashion, and has yet to have 1 problem since the swap... ALOT of work though... Dont think it wouldbe as doable with my platform...... THOSE gears are alot stouter than the B series gears. Stubby. Like mah fingaz... fat and wide...

LOL

I know of this which you speak... Wish it were a solution for me... Oh well....

Thx for the words nog.

I should just shut up. Im sure I wont want to sell ---- besides the saenz box when I get the LSD box from hell back in it.

i kind of hope this scenario happens. that way when the dickhole that buys it wrecks a tranny and can't afford to fix it, or is too retarded to figure it out, i can pick it up for 50-75% of what it's worth.

Been thinking of doin that swap for my D build. But the thought of the work makes my back hurt. It is a pretty killer thought though. I think that if you be patient and get the already worn dog box worked out you'll be ready to rock. Your problem is you burned up to many transmissions before going to a real solution and now you just don't give a ---- anymore. Don't give up on a beautiful street project man. That's your -----, don't slap her around so much and she'll be willin to make you more money.

Thx for the words nog.
