Default leaking tail lights

and b4 you say anything these are STOCK TAILLIGHTS, not leak-prone altezzas!

Anyways, my passenger side tail leaks water, its half full right now. I can do one of two things, or both.

1. Use clear silicon of some sort to seal the edges of the light housing.
OR
2. Drill 1 or 2 small holes in the bottom.

if I do #1, what EXACTLY do I use??

i drilled holes in the bottom of my 88 HF tails (stock of course) and it worked like a chrm i used to joke about putting small fish in my tails from the pools of water, but after i drilled the holes they looked perfect.

just my 2 cents
