I think the only thing you can do with street tires is take off like normal. If you try higher rpm, you'll spin easier. Use lag to your advantage and get going a little bit before boost gets up. This is especially true if the track uses VHT for funnycars and ---- because that stuff is awfully slippery on street tires. Like mud bogging in rubber and VHT. I know my car hooks up better on the street because it actually gets torque steer but not on VHT at the strip. Ghey.

i was looking into useing airbags in the rear of the car at the trac or when well racing. i had a good chassis guy look into the problem he says if you raise the rear of my car ( should be similar on other impoorts trhat are fwd.) it would move the pivot point forward enough to keep the wiegth transfer fiarly minimal on luanch. so im gonna give that a try. if it works out ill post what parts i used and where to get them. wish me luck.

sure beats the hell out off 500ppi springs for a street driver.
