Late night HMT intercooler action
I'm not sure how many of you are following my thread about turbocharging my cousin's Accord:
https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...hp?topic=55261
But last night/this morning (1 A.M.) Chris and I were trying to figure out how the heck we were going to do the piping from the J-pipe to the existing intercooler piping..
The J-pipe was big and pointing in the opposite direction of what we needed
Well, I brainstormed, and after a short run to Home Depot we got what we needed:
Chris chopped down the J-pipe to nothing, I put a HD bend on it, then used another part of the j-pipe to bend some more, used part of the turbo rubber piping from the Probe Turbo to connect that to even another piece of the j-pipe, then used a transition coupler from that small pipe to the 2.5" pipe, then that 2.5" pipe connects to the rest Finally got done right around 3 A.M. after all the parts running
Also, today after we get the seals we're installing the 450's (Going Frank style... "just press those bitches in") and the BOV, however the BOV piping is 2 1/4 and the regular piping is 2 1/2, and we can't find any home depot transition couplers Also John Kerr (j-k-tuning) is going to chip the p06, so we might have this thang running by Friday

Looks good. You guys seem to have done a VERY clean job on it. Hope it runs well for you. HA, my Dad walks by: "Wow, all THEIR stuff is all crome and shiny." LOL. He's a ricer. :P I DO like that manifold though.

Re: Late night HMT intercooler action
Other than the serious amount of rust and the homo painted engine parts, it looks good. I predict busted couplers in your future though....
