DUDES!!! We have the technology to do anything! Even go to Jupiter and Pluto! Remember, our computer technology came from Aliens! Yep, how do you think computers just busted out outta nowhere? We straight robbed that alien spacecraft! Remember the space ship hiding out in Area 51? Straight stripped it like it was JDM.

After reading some information on the landing of the moon in 69 I found it hard to believe we actually did. Now Bush is saying were going to the moon again in 2015. Why in the world does it take over 10 years to do something we did over 30 years ago. It's like building a 69 camero but we have to wait another 10 years for carbs to catch up so the car can run. The fox program about never landing on the moon was also a very informative program. The best was the video footage of the environment of the moon and rocks in the same location in shots supposedly miles away, proably shot in a studio on a military base. Same shape and angle. There were to many to list but there is a reason why people don't believe it and I'm one of them. Go ahead and flame.

All these negative comments or disbeliefs that this ever happened is just a tribute to exactly how great of an acomplishment that it was.

Were talking about really smart people here guys...With a reason to win. People who had a great deal of patriotism. The same kind of people who are currently involved with the Mars exploration program.

The reason it will take a few more years to go back to the moon is this:

We need to design new equipment using today's technology. An old Camaro will get you to the grocery store, but we still buy newer cars make the same trip. (this is a gross oversimplification btw) And according to Bush's address, the spacecraft will be used for doing more that just going to the moon.

I wasn't there, so I don't know for sure.
My Shpeal:

Area 51 is where they hoaxed the moon landing, that's why no one is allowed there(my opinion). In 1969 the US was still in the cold war with Russia. How do you beat a competiting company or government? Provide a better product for less money. The united states was getting its *** kicked in the space race by the ruskies. Wag the Dog 1969 style. I watched that Fox special(I love Fox specials) and the evidence totally convinced me that it was hoaxed. It was a brilliant move on the US's part, make your enemy bankrupt enough not to wage war against you. When Ronald Regan was president he ended the cold war by telling the Russains that the US had starWars lazers in our satelites So russia tried to "catch up" to what they though our level of techknowledgy was. they spend almost all of thier cash and go out of business.

There would be only one flaw in the "brilliant move" that you've just described....What if the Russians were not made bankrupt by our claims....but just motivated to sucessfully create the very technology that we told them that we had.

We didn't know exactly what their economical status was at that time.

...and as far as Area 51, can't the U.S. have just one place to develop new technology for propulsion and defense without everybody having to see? If people like us see it...than the whole world sees it. That's no way to keep a secret.

This is for all of our own good.

Becouse there is no profit from going to the moon. Its not cheap so if there were a crew sent to the moon every year the U.S would be bankrupt now or our taxes would be about 40% of our anual income.Think about it dude......The only thing we get from space exploration is to boast the were the firt/only ones that did it first.

You know what will make profitable?

Tourisim. When we can all experience space for a reasonable fee (like an airline ticket). When more and more people go into space will help drive down the cost... Supply and demand.

They're working on making it cheaper right now.

Anyone heard of the X-Prize?

I'm not saying go every year but we haven't gone in over 30 years and now it's an issue. The way space talk is we will go in more like 2025 hence trying to get technology to actually get a human to reach the moon. Now why haven't the Russians or any other nation gone to the moon. Japan has a very active space program but hasn't gone and they are far from having finacial problems or shortage of engineering skills. I was believer that we landed on the moon until a friend of mine introduced me to a book on the subject and the topper was the fox special. I guess the proof will be if another nation goes to the moon and doesn't find any of the equipment or the flag from previous missions. Also I'm not saying what were doing right now isn't true but the moon landing era is more of a hoax than truth set in stone.

Shake my head, a lot of people believe that the americans never landed on the moon. I'm very skeptical on whether or not they really did. Putting people into space isn't that hard but landing on a rock that HAS NO ATMOSPHERE is. Look at how much trouble they had landing on mars, if they did it before with lightbulb sized transistors why is it so hard with supercomputers. Hell gameboy advance apparantly has more processing power than any of the apollo crafts.

In my opinion it was staged because the russians where kicking nasa's *** in space development. The us government needed some way to get the people behind their country. Look how long that russian tin can was in space for, with a crew. There was nothing even close to that made by nasa. The mars thing may be legit but then again they could just be taking pictures of arizona because every country thinks the us is dirt right now. Dubya thinks he can pull a kennedy. Plus the dollar is really shitty and finding bin laden is harder than they thought.

Just an opinion tho....

Hotrex getting through the atmosphere isn't that hard, how do all those satelites get there, what about Mihr.
