Re: knock sensor/ detectors
I ordered a knocklite a couple days ago. I dont fully trust the setup and self learning they describe so i plan on taping in to the signal wire and build a small amplifier and listen in with headphones also.
The rest of those look like crap.

Re: knock sensor/ detectors
8" of copper pipe
A fuel line with a diameter that will fit into the copper pipe. Get enough to run from your motor to pass/driver seat, whoever is tuning.
Noise canceling headphones (ear muff type, the cheap stuff from any hardware store).
Maybe a bit of epoxy to keep it all together.
Smash one end of the copper pipe flat. Drill a hole. This is what you bolt to the engine. The other end, which is still round, gets one end of the hose shoved into it. At this point, throw a bit of epoxy on it to keep it in there. On the other end, drill a hole in one side of the ear muffs. Shove the hose into there and you're done.

Re: knock sensor/ detectors
oh yeah I did saw this before. but I dont like the idea of running tubes all over my engine bay, plus it is illegal to drive while wearing headphones.
I would prefer to use a LED type detector like the ones posted above.
I am looking into buying the turbo xs knocklite, but first need to search if it can be used with the honda map sensor, since I have a spare.
