Sounds like they were running from something, when he misshifts from top of 3rd to 2nd, and somehow locks the tires up and slides off the road into a tree. Thats what i took on it, and thats what the other board was saying.

I think his problem was when he missed his shift, he looked at the shift like WTF? Like it was the shifters fault or something? What a dumbass! and a puss too!

Looks like he downshifted and blew up his dif. and probely why the wheels locked or it threw the axles in hte ground. Either way that tranny is fucked. the car looked ok... but hte way it was tapped and the sounds brought me back to my wreck ( i wasent racing, was hit from behind) and gave me the same headake i had and hte smell.... god..
