KEY WONT COME OUT OF IGNITION UNLESS BATTERY IS DC
why? its my dads 96 civic hatchback and his key wont come out unless you dc the battery.....i wasnt sure if this would matter but the car will go in park when you put it in....but it doesnt seem to fully go in park......as much sence as that doesnt make ....i just dont know what it would be i never had to deal with something like that b4......

might be the cable or the plastic slider under the shifter. i know the slider won't let the key out unless you have it in park. ran into that problem when i was converting my last car to manual.
