5K miles has damaged ring seal permanently. Sure it still runs, but the whole turbo Honda doesn't last long rep is 110% attributable to your view that it's just for a little while.
The bad ring seal starts introducing oil into the engine and burnin- let me start over. The bad ring seal starts introducing oil into the engine and detonating, leaving carbon deposits that can hotspot and flare up again.
Goforth refuses to listen to me. His fresh engine with maybe nine hours and fifteen passes on it has oil on top of the pistons after a pass. It's either a timebomb or a powerful rebuildable core, maybe both if you are a fan of quantum physics. Pretty shitty way to treat a 700 whp build.

finally got this thing to the track. It ran a 13.4 and trapped 106 on street tires with my traction bar coming loose and making my car uncontrollable. Next time I'll be able to harsh it more and throw some good drag radials on or slicks and definately be in the 12's. Not bad for a stock b20 w/ cams on 5 pounds and w/ 2.2 60 foots because of traction issues...I will post the video up of the traction bar just taking a ---- on me. My wheel pretty much is tucked in the fender during the burnout....ftl
