20k a year is how much i'm going to be paying going to Miami University $14,500 is what my school is with room and board, and you can get an engineering degree there that would let you work for mercendez designing cars

I have a handfull of friends that went to UTI, one works at advance auto parts, one details cars at a mazda dealership, only 1 out of 3 actually use their education and he works at a ford dealership. One of them is still retarted he asked me to change spark plugs and a starter for him on his DSM :1. I had pondered going to one of those places since I am mechanically inclined and like cars, until I realized even if you do get a job at a dealership you still get paid ----. That job market is flooded, not like they claim "fifty million job openings in the next 2 yrs!" yeah BS.

I ended up going to A&P school, I'm not even done and I already have a badass job working on the most advanced business jets in the world and making more cash than ever before. School cost me half as much as those fancy automotive schools and the education quality is 100x better. And when you are done with those school's you dont even have a degree in anything, those schools are a joke.

only good thing about going to those auto trade schools is that they show you how to diag properly.....my buddy went to UTI and is pretty good at diag an shyt......me on the other hand.....give me some suspension work and brakes and i'm golden......

You are only as good as you become buddy......you really have to focus on that shyt or else it's just a waste of time....oh yea.....buy as many tools as possible when ur in that school.....i kno those trade schools usually only pay half suggested retail for snap-on,mac, and matco tools......spend money now so you save thousands later...

Jesus christ tyler. You literally just told me about it and your thread has 31 posts already. Lets hope you go there and learn to work on something other than carb'd 60's cars. O yeah, and please try to type in semi-legible english when your talking about going to school next year.

O yeah p.s. i just got done dorm shopping and bought a futon and Andy is bringing a plasma T.V. Looks like its time to get some better locks on the door.
