Whenever I got hurt my dad would always say, "Need a doctor? need a band-aid? then you're fine get back up there and do it again."
Haha, I'm going to be the same way with my kid, I hate seeing all these little kids that are afraid to try things. Speaking of which, I was out riding dirtbikes the other day with my brother's in law, and they had their kids with them, they were riding a Yamaha 90cc thing, and they were just putting around on them scared to go fast! what the hell was up with that? I remember my first little 80cc bike the first thing I did was peg it out to see how fast it would go. Since when are little boys scared to death of trying anything?
Hopefully the wife and I won't be having another child for another 3 years or so, but I'm sure hoping it's a boy- for two reasons. One, that I can talk to him and he'll understand what i mean without reading 100 different meanings into it, two: we'll be able to get in some father son mechanic time (I know those memories with my dad are some of my best ones) and three: I can beat on the fool if he's disrespecting me, I can't stand parents that refuse to punish their children. I know that I used to mess with my mom, but one sideways look from my dad and I'm like, "I'm not doing anything! just sitting here minding my own business."
If I had a girl it would be way too easy for her to lie to me and have me beleive her, plus girls are crazy anyway.

Little man ----- at age 15? Right on, as long as you use a rubber. I've ruined my fair share of ----- to know that I hope I get more boys than girls when I decide to have kids.
