not that I am really aware of, but like I said...I have never really had to deal with that. www.homebrewtalk.com is the forum I generally get my information from.
If it was something I had to deal with then I would look more into it. If you think your water is shitty or if you have had problems with it messing up your tasty brew, I suggest going to that forum and looking around.
JD, when you tasted your beer...how lang had it been sitting in the bottle? was it properly carbonated? how was the head? -this all comes in part 2 You can have all of those things you listed but have a perfect brew...

You can send in your water for testing. Many times the city water is chlorinated which the yeast doesn't like. If the water is too clean the yeast also gets pissed off because it needs some minerals. I have had great luck with well water in Wisconsin.
