I work at starbucks, and i was serving coffee to this older guy. He had to be at least 60. I look out side, and see a 95 red Mazda rx-7. I say "man thats a nice car," and he says, "you like that? i only drive that one a few times a week. I like to rotate them." So i say "mind if i take a look under the hood?"

the guy hands over the keys and tells me that its ok if take it for a spin as long as i bring it back. ---- like this doesnt happen to me everyday, so i told my manager to do what she had to do, because i was leaving for a few minutes.

i couldnt believe this 60+ year old man had a dope car with a roll cage, and a 5-point harness. it had the luxury trim, leather, power options ect. ect. upon starting up the car, it dawns on me that its got a fatty turbo, intercooled. i only noticed the boost guage after the fact.

Never before in my life have i hated stop lights so much, so when i finally got on the Interstate 5... bliss. i was pinned to the seat all the way until, well i dont know how fast i was going, but i was hauling some serious nuts. the boost guage was pegged on my trip down the on-ramp, and i blasted by a couple ricers. my best guesstament is between 110-130mph. It gave me an inflate sensed of self confidence. that was the best day at work i ever had. the only downside to that is that my honda will never perform like that car, and i will forever be desiring more power. but i guess being addicted to speed is better than being addicted to crack.

wow, thats so cool. cant believe an old man has a car like that, i remember one day when i was a kid, probably in grade 8, some guy let me sit in his viper, back in thoes days you were the ---- if you ever got to sit in one of thoes, lol
