stock... header and cat..

i told him to de-cat that would help

i never drove it but the guy gave me a rid in it but he never floors it from low rpm only like once and it was from 3 k and it just wheel hoped like a pice of ----! not even a good spin so for the S/C aint got ---- junkyard hmt

A good local tuner wont tune JRSC cars unless they run a LHT aftercooler(JRCS's aftercooler builder whos from our area).I hear big gains are possible from adding one.

it all depends on how well you can cool the water, and how much water you have and how fast you can cycle it through the system.

M62 is not being spun fast enough, but GSR VTEC kills SC boost output. Spin the blower faster but then delta temps go through the roof.

Even a M90 case on a GSR has a hard time keeping up with boost due to blow thru with VTEC overlap.

Eaton based SC design not meant to turn Honda style rpms, V6/V8 lower rpm power curves.

The last time I worked on a JRSC LS, I remember the IAT's pegging out at 2 something partway through the street tune. It never came down form there.
IIRC, once you venture past 140-150ish IAT's, you're getting into diminishing returns on the boost increases.

No 4agze came w/ SC12 which are 1.2liters/rev and SC14 1.4liters/rev displacement.

The butt dyno is the most useless tool ever. It feels change in acceleration not acceleration itself - slower, peakier setups "feel" faster than a setup that makes and maintains power.

People say that, but the IM to EM pressure ratio is similar to some turbo application due to the lack of big primary big collector blower headers in the Honda market. See also: big nitrous headers, lack of. Sure, a nitrous cam would help but show me where a Honduh gets any less out of an M62/etc than any other car does.

The problem is the roots blower is flat out inefficient and spinning the blower faster is just the law of diminishing returns revisited. If you get one for a good deal game on, they are decent on a streetcar with a shot of nitrous. I wouldn't buy one for the prices they command new.
