glad to see all the reply's..............the main thing i look for in church is someone to tell me about church that #1 is partially sucessfull and not just some bum that doesnt want to be a bum anymore so he goes to church. #2 is the person who is telling me this stuff can not have grown up in church knowing only what his preacher parents told him....unless he has lived an unsheltered life on his own......basically if you havent smoked pot and got drunk a bunch of times dont tell me about what god can do for me.....

there is a church by my house and the preacher used to be a cop and is really cool and didnt always live his life by "god" so his opinions and beliefs have a greater affect on me than some little ****** that has never been out of a church and doesnt know anything else but preaching.

I stop going to church after reading the whole bible.
I found that no man should be able to tell me how my relationship with god should be. I can talk to him all I want at my house. Then, after holding one of my friends in my arms as she passed away from something as senseless as drunk driving, I came to the conclusion that the god man tells us of, does not exist. There maybe a higher power that we can ascend too.
You can do whatever you wish. Go to church or not, thats what our farthers and grand farthers have died for in every war we have had. But know, that god is to be worshipped, not man.
