Ya' it`ll work, but why not just weld?
JB has yet to fail me. Its been holding the multiple leaks on my radiator together for 2 years now, lol. Also held my shift linkage until I could weld it.
I always have some in my glove box, cause` ya never now when....

jb weld is a little packet of two different mixes. its rubbery but makes a solid bond. i would use this on a flange to the oil pan tap, but sure as hell not a bov as that may leak eventually.
