Don't try to justify them. It doesn't matter if you were on your way to save 3 crippled hobos from a burning fecal explosion. The fact is, you were breaking the law or wouldn't have been pulled over.

After over 22-24+ (lost count) tickets last year, and having my license suspended 3 times, I decided to take care of all the ---- and went from having a lot of cash to having absolutely no cash and being in debt just so I could get the ---- paid off.

~24 tickets averaging around $150 = $3600
3 license reinstatements at $150 each = $450
3 licenses at $23 each = $69
tag reinstatement = $200
late fees = $300
court costs = $1000+
impound fees = $170
work time lost going to court = $200+

Cost me a nice ~$6000 just to be able to drive again. Not counting all the gas I spent driving around, like having to drive 5 hours away into georgia to pay a ------- ticket from 2005 or 90 minutes to a DMV because you can get to ours an hour early and STILL not get a spot.

I agree with you that it's bullshit. The last time I got pulled over (expired tag) and the car was impounded, I asked the officer how the hell I was supposed to pay the fines when I can't drive. He told me to get a taxi or someone else to drive me. Well, public transportation is practically nonexistent here, and everyone I know WORKS.

But, ---- it. When my car was impounded the last time, I stopped working, paid all the ---- and went into debt, and can now finally legally drive after years.

ya most of us learn the hard way, luckily ive never had my drivers license really suspended. and its crazy that druggies get less trouble or the same as driving while suspended, elluding, or wreckless driving after a few counts.

Damn dude it took you a lot of time and money to learn that lesson. Glad you got it figured out. Oh and BTW, that chick of yours is a keeper if she takes it on herself to do all that ---- to get your *** outta jail. Solid support system there.

Good Luck.
