I've been turned into a jackass!!!
So I was reading the old flat-rate thread over at H-T and sure enough this *** PrecisionH23a is talkin' all sorts of ----. I figure, everyone has their own take on it, and that's just fine, but then he makes some post saying how Jeff's biggest mistake was going turbo on a budget.
Since that is the dumbest ---- I've ever heard, I let him know by calling him a jackass. Lo and behold, this bastard is a moderator or something because he pm's me saying he's gonna dock me 5% (like I give a ----) and he switches my avatar to a donkey.

Are you serious? Somebody on Honda-Tech is a ******** with his head up his ***? Next your going to tell us that JDM cupholders are not a good investment. I'm sorry but I think your full of ----, I'm calling BS on this one.

I know there is a friend of mine that hangs out on honda-tech a lot. He lives in my town and we are good racing buddies.
He had in his sig "what is ricer $450 ctr tail lights or $150 altezza's, both do nothing for performance"... something along this. He told me that he had tons of pm's everyday saying that he is stupid cause he wass knocking jdm parts.

That's what I get for putting in my .02 at H-T
And what pisses me off further is that in his pm to me he says: Do you not understand how turbos work? Do you not understand the thermodynamics of why a tt setup is a bad idea on a i-4?
I'm like WTF? We all have our views on a honda tt setup, I'm calling you a jackass cause you think that anybody that wants to boost needs to drop big bucks. I just told that *** he needs to get off his high fawkin horse.

We all know that Honda-Tech supports the all mighty dollar instead of something unique. Thats why as soon as they seen a TT setup they comare it to an SC61. Of course the more expensive highly enginnered turbo is the best way to go but we don't have the money. When the first ------- linked my kit to HT the majority of the first responses was, "what a huge money pit/waste of money" It never crossed their minds than if you build something yourself its not as expensive as if you were paying someone else $1200 for a manifold. That to me proved that Honda-Tech was more about how much money you can spend and not on what you can fabricate with your hands.
But I've said this millions of times But it just pisses me off that there are places like Honda-Tech and flame on creativity and building something just for fun which deter people from actually trying it themselves.
