yea i know its 96 and up but i dont know if they made the ls motor from like 93-98 or something.....i know what obd2 is but thats why i was asking.....yea and i figure if i was going to buy another d series i might as well just have the crank milled a little and throw an oversized bearing on there and just be done with it...but that process alone will probably cost me 600 bucks so i figure why not just buy an ls motor from somewhere........i heard theyre cheap as ----...but ive never seen one for sale other than personally for sale...im a little drunk right now so im rambling sorry.......i was thinking about going with the whole autozone motor thing cause they sell motors for the same prices as most of these internet sites.....gsr motor 2300 im only looking to spend like 1000 on the motor and then im gonna start piecing together the turbo kit to run on like 11-15 pounds i figured i would take out the extra money for pistons and rods whiile im at it......and i would devcon it while the block is torn down.....then find a cheap vtec head somewhere and throw that on....

just about all importers sell LS motors, usually between $500-700+shipping. most people classify any non vtec B18 as an LS motor. and from 90-91 they where obd0, 92-95 they where obd1 and 96+ are obd2. the differances are little between each, but get one atleast the same year or newer than your car.

ok well the bearing i think fell out or someting becuase it got ------ nasty heh...ive been driving it with the bearing the way it was and today it was so bad that i tried to go up a hill and i had to floor it and keep pushing the clutch in and out....my dad drove me to school and i borrowed a picker off of my uncle so i should be good to do the swap myself now....ill be selling all the parts to my d series so if anyone is looking for an si transmission mine is in good condition no grinds or anything i dont know what people are selling them for but ill sell mine for a reasonable price...pickup or shipped i dont care really.....im pretty sure my head is in good condition so i might keep it and put it on my dads non vtec ek...but ill probably sell it if someone wants it.....dizzy is bad at idle fully advanced i can only pull 13 degrees timing when its supposed to be at 16 degrees at 650 rpm....but yea if anyone needs anything i have it heh unless its a bearing heh......
on a side note a kid i know is selling a crx with a dohc zc motor for 500 bucks and the car is primer black and the motor has broken axels....but i can get the axels from a friend for 30 bucks...i think im gonna buy it this weekend and then sell it when i get my car fixed....so also if anyone is looking for a crx ill sell that ---- too as soon as i buy it...........oh yea and thanks for the info z1guy
