Default ITB's

I might highjack the thread but if itb are great for N/A engine... what about those on a turbo engine? It would allow more air to be flow in the head... if we could be able to make a special pipe.... like a 1 to 4.... D'oh! i guess then it would be the same as having a regular intake manifold... for a short moment i tought it could work

but it could work....

make a canister to go around the throttle bodies...
just like a 4AGE 20-v with stock ITB's.

and it would be alot more performance....its 4 throttle bodies, not just 1.

it would be like hitting 4 beer bongs instead if 1 at the same time.

The skylines from the R32,33, and R34 all have ITB and twin turbo'd. Also the SR20DET GTIR engine is turbo'd and has ITB's. That was in there hayday but now it's that VQ stuff and 4dr sports cars

Turboef9 have you made your new intake yet? I might be interested in swaping to your idea if it works good. Mine is like Jeffs. I would like to see pics of it.

My flange is at the machine shop right now.. once I get that back, I'll weld on the runners, hack the TPS, and slap it together.

I will post pictures later, but I dont know why people are re-welding manifolds. One of our sets is a B series, with a 954 set-up on it. its like a cut, and connect type set-up. I will post pictures of what I am talking about later....

You have a tig welder? I'm assuming your flange and runners are all going to be aluminum?
