I still have yet to fully understand ECU moding, and fuel curves, and a/f ratio and all of that. What I mean is making the car run more rich, or could you do that with messing with the FPR?

Well, ya, when you bring in more air, you need to adjust your fuel.
Depending on how _much_ air you bring in dictates whether or not your computer will be able to compensate, or if you'll need it to be "tuned".
Ya, there are ways around ECU modification to get more fuel.. FPR being one of them. It's OK, but FPR adjustment effectives your entire RPM scale. Which means, it's not going to contour to where you need more fuel specifically.
It's more of a like a "Catch all".
Then again, it also doesn't increase timing (where you power really comes from).
ECU modification is the best route to go, if it's practical for the application.

very good point, i have never looked at it that way.
here is a good way to tune....pull the O2 sensor, extend it and make that ****** hit cold air. LOL
there is a dyno around here which can chip ECU while on the dyno (im not sure of this) but I do know alot of turbo'd vehicles go there to be tuned. usally like $100 for 3 pulls. I will have to go check him out when I get everything done. (well not really check him out...)
