Irev Car show Jeff/Travis w/ Special Guest! *56k not going to happen*
So on all the local websites we have been hearing about this big car show coming to town "IREV @ the Tacoma Dome". Me and Travis have never been to a IMPORT car show ever, (guess its not our thing?) but we had a special guest Mary (MakAttack) driving all the way up from Oregon to meet us and attend this "show?"
Before we left, we took Mary to the fine Everett Mall, Mr. Bills for Lunch, Travis trying to get friendly as she's talking to Mom at home, hah
What is this? before we even get to the show we spot some fine Everett Rice at the mall!
I had no idea Mary's Mazda Mx6 was sponsered by every import mag!
The Mazda was a blast to drive down with excessive clutch chatter and the check engine light on, I felt right at home behind the wheel. Travis was doing incredible dance car moves like no other.
We parked got out, and the parking lot was like a god damn scene from fast & furious! Me and Travis wasted no time taking action to the RICE
As much as travis likes honda/acuras.. he really liked this one.
What is this....? a wing of some sort?
I wanted to take the Neon Wing for a ride!
As we approched the Tacoma Dome of Rice, a Bum stopped me and asked if I wanted a 2 dollar off card, for 2 dollars? WTF? After he babbled to himself for a few seconds he made no sense and just ended up giving me it. LOL
Ok, we walk in, and whats the first thing I see? jesus ------- christ! its a CRX or is it? it has BMW headlights and what appears to be a hacked up newer style Eclipse front bumper installed! good god! At this point, I'm afraid to see whats ahead!
Well then, its exactly how I thought it was going to be, tons of cars with overly done up body kits, massive wings and more Nitrous bottles I've ever seen in my entire life.
Me and trav had to go in for a closer look upon these wild breed of cars.

Holly watched as I helped dusted the Importmix show cars!
The **** count was quite high at the show, I felt I had to take a picture of this one, she looked like a lost dog.
This little amature was walking around with her ***** sticking out as far as they could, it was quite noticable, guys just following everywhere she went, etc etc. I didnt have the ***** to go up and take a pic.. but Travis sure did. He asks "can I get your picture?" ..."sure" ... The camara aims at her face for a slight second, then aims directly toward her ****, OMG it was so funny, you should of seen her face after the PIC!!!!
I snapped an *** shot as she walked away.. damn she really enjoyed the attention.

Travis busts out a 1 handed side kick in front of the asian models. I was impressed.. but I dont think the girls were, hah.
This guy couldnt afford the Chrome, so he went with the low budget cotton appearence!
I couldnt help myself, but it looked so fluffy, I wanted to try some on this nice del sol engine bay. I dont think the owner appricated it
Nice H22 EG race car still in the works...?
The guy next to me was telling me that this car has been to these shows like this for the last 3 years and hasnt changed. Must be on that jeff frank race program schedual?

This car caught my attention quickly.. Heavily chromed out, but had some goods too. Of course he had to bust out the laptop to show he had AEM. I dont think the car has ever been driven on the road, or has even seen a heated engine cycle since his chrome on his manifold was still bling'n.

On the way out, They had these little RC cars all setup doing some crazy drift moves on the floor, it was pretty cool. Travis did good job until he rolled his, then he handed the controller to me. I got to play around for a bit, then the car just died, the engine fried! hahahaha it smelt like something burnt up inside. I just blamed it on travis's roll accident.
In the parking lot next to where we parked we noticed a big crowd of people watching 8 brand new Mazda 6's driving through what it looked like an AutoX corse! I guess BFG was doing test comparisons on tires. Me and Travis got excited and wanted to drive the cars, so we go sign up, take a breathalyzer and up sitting in line for like 45 mins to drive these cars. Everyone in line is like "YA I'M GOING GO CRAZY MAN" "I'M GOING TO RIP ---- UP AND SLIDE ALL OVER" but what was werid.. is nobody was doing it? I was like wtf? they looked like they were going so so slow out there? or maybe the driving instructor that was with them had a brake or something?
So I figured out quickly why nobody was going crazy out there, they were automatics! We got 4 laps, 2 in one car that was equipped with Brand XXX tires, and the other in BFG's new Special no slip or whatever tires. Travis was in the car behind me. I drove Brand XXX tires first round. The instructor was a homo. So I wanted to have some fun with him! I act like a complete GOOBER! direct quotes from me "HI THERE!, THIS MAZDA IS REALLY RAD, AND IVE NEVER DROVE A FAST CAR LIKE THIS ON A CORSE IN MY LIFE" bwhahhahahahahahahhahahaha so, I just ------- nail the gas, hes like "OK BUDDY, LETS SLOW DOWN FOR THE CORNERS" I'm like.. "I got this ----..."
So Rip around like the 2nd corner and just pitch the ****** all the way around, take out 4 cones, and the guy is just PISSED! another quote "WOW, THIS TIRES SURE DO SUCK", he says "YOU NEED TO STAY IN CONTROL OF THE CAR, ARE YOU SURE YOU CAN HANDLE THIS?" So I get back on the corse and their are cones draggin underneith the car, and I go into lap 2 the next turn! OH YA! another big fatty spin. Dude is just getting pissed off, and I am trying so ------- hard not to stop laughing my *** off.
Me = Green
Travis = Red
Correct route = blue
So we switch cars, and I'm now driving the Car that has the BFG's w/ a new instructor, he says "Dude your the only guy that has spun out all day long" I told him "I just got my license yesterday, and I'm a bit new to driving" My last 2 laps were pretty fun, the BFG's definatly did hook up better, but I got a bit squirlly on a few turns. We hop out and everyone in the line is just like busting up laughing at me, omg it was classic.
We got free shirts for the little experience =)
Overall it was pretty fun, me and travis are talking about having a "booth" of our own next show promoting our new website draglab.. and you can imagne what we have in mind for that, HAHAHA

I went back to the drift car guys and asked if i could drive it again. They said it was broken
hahaha
for 200 bucks.. i guess they're fun, they are quick little buggers! Our booth will rock!

I cant believe youve never been to a rice show.Those broads are funny.All the guys fallow them like dos following a bitch in heat.They love the attention.....little *****.That driving looked like fun.I did the car scene back in 98-99.I was telling my wife it would be funny to enter once I get my ghetto *** HMT setup.That would be funny.

Some of those cars were pretty nasty. I wonder why someone would enter a basicaly stock car and just shove cotton all over the damn place? I can't believe they let you drive the cars. What were they thinking?

omfg. Thats the hardest I've laughed in awhile.
Oh and I went to hot import nights last night. Half of the cars had cracked body kits and all this rediculous rope and ---- wrapped around the cars. MASTER P even had a car he was showing there. lol. Check this out:
