Ok Well i have some money that i want to put away in a short term investment. 3-6 month investment.
I have $10,000 to Invest. I am not sure if i should get some type of CD or put it in a money market.
Does anyone have any experience with investing and how to make a little bit of money off of this?
Ive been to navy federal and got there rates, im going to go to charles schwab or whatever on monday to see what they can offer me as well.

Anyone have any advice?

Still a solid commodity investment, simply because it doesn't get affected by the bullshit up and downs of the markets. But not a 3-6 month pick

Yes, the whole goal is an investment that doesn't tye me in for more then 6 months. I am going to buy a house in 6 month's and il use that money towards it.

if you go through a broker and do a safe investment, you're only going to see maybe a 4-6% return tops, if that. Best thing to do is get an account and trade for yourself, but be prepared to read your *** into oblivion.
