insturment cluster question (thanx guys its fix cause of you guys)

if you installed the dimmer you should see if you pinched the wire somewhere.

ill check the wireing of the dimmer but i think its grounding somewhere..

that could be the cause of it,i've had that problem in some buildings where bulbs were burning out, and just checking the switch did the trick.

well i check the harness on the dim light switch. i got 24.8v on the connecter and when i check to see if i can connect pin 1 with a good ground it spark but when i connect pin 3 to a good ground the cluster's lights work. so i really dont know what to do so you guys have any suggestions in what to do?

sounds like you wired the dimmer wrong.

i didnt installed the dimmer nor tamper with it, it just stop working for some reason. i guess im going to take it to a shop or figure out where the problem is. thanx guy for your advise and knowledege

you said you got the cluster to light up when you crossed pin 3. try runnign a new ground. maby it got cut, or something

24.8 volts is way more than you should have there. Do your headlights seem ultra-bright for some reason? Could be a bad regulator in your alternator that might have taken out the dimmer in the process. Check the output voltage on the alternator as well to make sure.
