Default insight

well, ive been working on my car for a month now. the ---- still isint working right. im tired of having an old car and having to put money into it every week for somthing else that breaks. im thinking about buying an insight. the 70mpg sounds badass and i figure it cant be much slower than a d15b2. has anyone ever driven an insight or do they have allot of problems? other than looking like a "turtle with down syndrome"

most insights only get 55 mpg highway, about the same as my D15B7 5g HB, and mines ALOT quicker than the insight!

A buddy of mine gets around 90 in his. But he has some kind of controler that allows him let the electric motor run all the time. I've driven it..Its comparable to an Crx Si in performance but handles alot better.

People have got over 120 mpg before in these, they've set world records.

It runs a low 18 in the quarter mile and with a few tweaks I guess they get really decent mileage, if you drive correctly that is. I'm thinking of buying one here in a couple years when I'm out of college and have the money to purchase one.

honestly, im starting to like the way it looks. its very very practical for a daily driver. and i dont need a status car. and i always like to see good technology being put to use.

Just buy a TDI Jetta or Golf. They get around 50-60 mpg and look nice, handle nice and actually move pretty good with that torque.
