Those guys wouldnt last 2sec in Pride or the UFC or any MMA fight for that matter.
They are skilled, I give them that. But if I am going to learn any style of fighting, its going to be something I can use in a real fight.

UFC is made fun of in by people by real martial artist becuase the techniques are poorly done. I have watch my fare share of UFC fights but I alway end up laughing because I realize how stupid they are. Really they are all gunna end up like Mohamed Ali and not be able for a sentence. Retards !

i was in tae kwan do and jujitsu, the reason "kicks are for ****" and they are. is because your leaving your entire body open for an attack when you kick someone. you might be able to get a kick off by catching someone off guard, but you cant rely on that. if you try to kick the wrong person your going to end up with a broken leg. and if you try to be the agressor you have no control over the fight.

isnt that the whole point of fighting knowing when to strike and how? it makes sense to kick when necessary espically when they are effective.A good kickboxer will walk circles around a good boxer plain and simple, ive seen it happen quite offen.

Yeah that is part of it of course.

You know what a judoka will have the kick boxer his feet. Then what is he going to; nothing because all of his tools for ending the fight have been taken away.

alot of the guys in the video are called the flying tigers in korea. the guys are not only skilled in tae kwon do, but also hapkido which is a submissive martial art. the tigers are good enough to tech the korean military, and protect the presidant of south korea. i agree that alot of the teniques that they demmostrate are for show, but thats not all they know. and btw if you say that kicking is not for ****. spinning kicks arent that effective. but a kick to someones knee joint will break it with proper form. its like chopping down a tree

but thats what makes fighting fun, knowing more then the other person, many of the fighters on ufc and similar programs, many of them do know at least a couple if not more different styles, i know submissions and kicks arnt gonna work as well against some people but when holding someone in a submission and quickly seeing you have a chance to use your hands and arms, even elbows is what makes the winners winners. switching between differnt styles and mixing it up is what makes someone better then the rest.

You see those little flashes of light photoshopped into the vid, everytime they struck a blow? That's the Icy Hot Stuntaz of martial arts, right there.
