Very flashy. If it was broken down into something more... errr applicable then it would be kickass, but most of that is just for show. Hence the big aditorium they were demonstrating it in. Still cool to watch.

I have spent enough time martial arts (Judo, Aikido, and Jujutsu) to know that kicks are for ****.
Oh and dont ask if I can do that ----. Cause the answer is no. I would settle for breaking some bones. Much more effective.

wow must be the typical high school wrestler here, how about a round house to the face then tell me and everyone else if kicks r for ****. breaking bones isnt effective jerk off its called submissions, things like brazilian jujitsu. ever watch muay tia fights? seen guys forearms broke when they've tried blocking but then again when the bones sticking out kicks must be for ****.

Kick's are incredibly effective. Maybe no those, but I'd wrather get punched than kicked if both are propperly executed.

I don’t want to get into pissing match over which is better. But FYI i am not a wrestler. I have taken striking arts in the past.(TKD and Shotokan karate) neither are that effective. Muay Tai has its advantages over striking/hard style of martial art mainly there ability to absorb blows, but when you get them off their feet the are about worthless. I have studied grappling(Judo, jujutsu, and aikido) for the past five years. I have also some limited exposure to Sambo with is knee locks and various cranks that are not allowed in Judo it provides a broad education.

Oh and yes locking joins, breaking bones, and chokes are the fastest way to win a fight. If you don't believe me, fine. Let see how long you last with an arm broken two places, or perhaps an ankle that has been dislocated.

Oh and BJJ leaves a bad tast in mouth. I have fought several of those guys at tournaments and they always get their asses handed to them because they don't know the rules involed in a TOURNAMENT and try to hurt people or perhaps they just on have any self control. A lot of the time its just poor technique because the their instructors suck. I personally had a BJJ guy try and break my arm after the ref stopped the match. I had him pinned, and the match was over and when I went stand and return to my line he used his legs to lock my arm up. He was thrown out of the tournament because of it.
Hansoku Make is not a good the thing.
