so ur saying mt akina is in china? because that wasn't a computer generated location, i watched "the making of initial d the movie" and once again quit being gay n talkin bout the language, who cares where it was shot or why it was shot, its a ------ movie. either the movie was a good one or a bad one, you can't judge a movie by where it was recorded.
and he knows it cantonese because it says on the back of the dvd case.

The mountain where they shoot the movie at is the same mountain in the catoon.

i liked the live action it didnt go along with the series or the manga as well as i would have liked but i thought all in all they did really well compacting so much of the story in so little time. and aside from the soundtrack i had no problems with it. i missed the eurobeat.

I liked it, compared to to F&F it doesn't seem to "try as hard." Considering that I downloaded it and no one is profiting and I get to zone out and look at some pretty pictures, its great 
But not enough killing of innocent animals or $$ shots on unsuspecting people.
