Yeah well, I'm retarded and that's how a retard thinks. :P

So how much was it? I bought a Vizio 42" plazma off Egay for around $600 shipped, but somehow it got "lost" and I never received it. They actually refunded my money on that one so no big deal. I still wanted the TV though.

this whole setup cost 2k including the $250 warranty (i never buy these damn things but best buy's warranty covers burn in now-which can be a major issue on plasmas)

i like the stand... but honestly anything bigger than 42" needs to be 1080p .IMHO, theres no point in having an hdtv if its horrible quality... i guess if your only using it for cable, thats probably not an issue than.

as far as I am concerned 720 isn't horrible quality,it's still considered "high def" and it's better quality than the tv that was in the bedroom before, and like you said, this is just in the bedroom for cable (and dvd's). all my toys are in the living room on the 60 inch 1080p.

i dont have cable or a system to play games so no reason to personally own one.

impulse buy the other day was buying a vault and some strawberry sour candys at the gas station coming home from kent.
