im sellin my 240 for an rx7?
well its gonna go i dont want to deal with having to swap motors when smog come time stupid cali.....well yeah i was leaning on a 93 rx7 the turbo one...but what do you guys think about rotary and i heard that the motor takes a crap every 60k? is that true?...

From 93 up they were all turbo. but yeah, they are very unreliable motors. The day you get it you should get an aluminum radiator for it and take off the cats to avoid it from catching on fire which is a very common problem. My buddy had to stand there and watch his 12 second fd go up in flames.
Also apex seals do go bad often

Over time the heat of the turbos/engine corrode the rubber, and **** the engine off.
Rotaries are very very finicky...run one too lean or too hot, and BOOM...they can not take rod knock, and will detonate on the first knock.
But like all turbo engines, proper tuning is the whole game. Make sure you learn ALL You can about them. Ive heard stories of engines blowing on simple bolt-ons because the motor ran a little lean and Ka-boom
