whats up all... new to the site, been a fan for a while to the DIY's and ----... anyways...
names josh,
i have a 94 eg d15b turbo, ported and polished head, 7.5lb flywheel, spec stage 2 clutch, and a full cracked exhaust OH YEA : /
td05/16g off a dsm, custom made exhaust mani (d16y7 manifold chopped up with a flange lol), and an ebay bov, with 2 inch piping and stock waste gate
not tuned yet but runs pretty good, issue im having is its building full boost by like 5200 rpms (5/6psi) could exhaust leaks be the cause? cuz i have a few on my manifold gasket, and been to lazy to change it

and a 91 ef with a fully built b16a/a2
eagle h beams
je pistons
stage 2 cams
titanium valve retainers
dual springs
jg cam gears
acl bearings
micro polished crank
7.5lb fly wheel
stage 4 clutch
t3/t4 turbo
.57 trim 50 a/r spool housing and .76trim .63 a/r exhaust housing
2.5 inch full exhaust, high flow cat
arp head studs
and a cometic head gasket
im looking for 19+ psi out of it once i get it going i need a ------- distributer

yes a pre turbo exhaust leak will cause slow building boost those leaks are acting like a wastegare by not letting the exhaust through the turbine

i changed my exhaust manifold gasket and im building full boost by 3500 to 3800... so much better then 5200... and in 3rd gear im gettin up to 7 to 9 lbs...
i need a tune so badly... got to put in my dsm 450's and get a new map sensor... lol

what are you runnign for it right now. injectors?fuel/timing managment?
