So yea, I am a jackass. I have a 93 civic hatch, put a B18A1 in it w/gsr transmission. Well, I just put in the new clutch this last wweekend, mounted the trans to the motor, installed it, put the axles in, and I began putting my expensive ------- synthetic fluids in the car when I realized, I have no tension on my clutch release fork!! I was like WTF!!! Turns out I put my clutch disc in backwards :1 so this weekend I have to redo everything... :1 :1

Anyone else been a jackass lately, or just me?

lol yea, i learned a valuable lesson with that. What sucks most is I already filled up my tranny w/synthetic fluid that was like 18 bux a quart. I'm gonna try and drain it into a clean pan and reuse it tho, cuz that ***** too expensive to get more

I didn't think it fit backwards that sucks i was scared i was going to mess something up like that when I did my swap but I read the manual and double checked everything and thats why it took so damn long, anyways that really sucks

You can put it on backwards it just wont do anything

How in the world did you manage to put it in backwards, its flat on one side and has an extrusion on the other, the extrusion goes in to the pressure plate and the flat part goes against the flywheel...Its as idiot proof as a claymore "Front towards enemy"

You will need a new disc if you put it in backwards. It tightened down onthe hub and bent the ---- out of it. I don't see how you could do that.
