I ran a T3 on my D16 and wish I would have went wiht a smaller turbo.
On the highway it was sweet as hell.
around town, it was a lag fest and sucked ***.
If I do it again, its gonna be with a T25 or something along those lines....
just my $.02
ohh yeah. good luck with that pile. I paid $75 for my T3 and it was in mint condition.

and yes. it was too laggy for me.
dont get me wrong, not a bad turbo at all...just to much lag for around town IMO.
But with the HF mani, be ready to put the T25 wg on it. (or risk grinding a hole in your block, cause you gotta grind your block a little to make it fir the way it was intended. )-reason #2 I would go with something smaller.
BTW< the T3 with a HF mani doesnt exactly fit to well with the T3 internal WG. you gotta run the T25 WG.

BTW #2...for the people who remeber my set-up, the JB welded block held till the day the new owner got taken out by the drunk driver.
