Im going to enter with the green machine and see how well I can do.
I learned of it from my uncle and he says its awsome. Im gonna try to do this. There is driver traing @ mosport in a few weeks so I might borrow someones crx to train in whil I finish mine.
training is 800 and I dont know what the event costs but this would be a life long memory.

motor whise yes probably can take the abuse iv watched last years targa rally in NF wasnt bad at all fun over all great experiance

It's ok ondaflow can fix the car when I come back, he might even be my co pilot.
looks like fun. I got (by then)finished fully built doch D, tuned for a lot of boost(will only run maybe 10-15 for the event to make it through), looking at rool cages right now on ebay(188+87 shipping), driver training in 3 weeks.

I would realy like to do it but am gonna low budjit the ----, I mean my *** will be camping in a tent for sleep beside the car, steeling the gas out the race cars .

WOT says hes in halifax at the time or nova scotia. hondaflow will go for sure.
Would be nice if I can get a few others to come out aswell.

If you really wanna get serious and try and have some fun in this race, pick up that Crx you were talking about, budget kit on a stock motor DONE PROPERLY on 7-8psi so itll last. 200ish whp, dropped with some good treadwear tires. ---- a rollcage, ---- an interior, ---- the stereo. 7 days of racing, you gotta be reliable as ----

but I think I will have to pull the 18's out the back the spin the coils back downsy(system drops the car 1.5")

besides that car needs a engine still
my car will be done and free and I will rape it everyday to make sure its reliable at 20ish psi then run the race down at 10 psi.

It would cost me almost 2g to build the other car then add another 1500 for race entry and driver training/racing liscence.

i had thought about doing the targa in a couple years time but budget is what is holding me back right now. you need to do some more research if you are serious about this. read the class rules and decide what class you are going to enter the car in. if your crx has a moon roof it will need to be welded or bolted shut for starters. i'm not even sure that a turbo setup would be allowed on a normally n/a car. there is a lot more to the safety standards than you might think. there are oem's competeing with factory race teams in this, people come up from australia for this thing... it is a serious race event and shouldn't be taken lightly. there is also a forum you should sign up on and do some reading to see if this is what you really want to do. registration is around $5000. atleast i've had someone offer to pay the registration fee if i provide the car and they are my navigator.
