read the link on my sig. I had $600 in it. ran awesome. the only thing I would change...would be to go with a T25. a t25 fits. if you go with a t3, and a HF mant, you gotta get a t25 WG or relocate the t3 wg. i would go with the t25

if you lazy:
T3 .42/.48
SMIC
crush bent autozone pipes
probe BOV
stealthmode oil lines
hf mani (which you probably already have)
bmc race adaptor plate
450's
uberdata

as said before, I would do the same thing but run a t25, only for fater spooling and I wouldtn grind a hole in the block.
also, as someone else said, if you are tight on money and this is your only car I would hold off. once you put the turbo on, its gonna "nickel and dime" you to death.

What are some "nickle and dime you to death problems" you guys have encountered? Other then the frigg'n insane rate of Gas these days.
Also, what are some cheap mods for the motor/ trans, so far I just one a nice little single stage ACT clutch that will grap nicely.

Would it be worth it to pick up a ZC for like 150-250 bucks and mod that while I run the d15? I read what Jeff said about the ZC and how it loves boost. Or should I just save for a b-series?

low mileage doesnt always mean its good. do a compression test and that will tell you if its good.

and for nickel and dimin...its always dumb ----. the head started "floating" so I put ARP's on it. then while I was doing that, I put the new HG on it. home depot couplers clamp ---- up. -so your gonna run into problems there...its always something. trust me.

and the car is comming together awesome. (your car) although, i would keep those ground control coilovers.

as far as boosing the motor...you have multi-point fuel injection right? If not, I would for sure change that ----. If you can get a ZC for $150, I would do it. Then you have a "back-up" motor. its a nice peice of mind.

a clutch, your for sure gonna need that! a stock one wont last long.

My setup:
14b: $110 shipped w/ o2 housing and fittings
hf mani: $15
weir adapter plate: $55
stealthmode oil kit: $70
uberdata: $120
obd2-1 conv harness: $73
dsm 450's and resister box: $45
rx7 fd smic: free
1g dsm bov with all i/c piping: $55
autometer boost gauge: $35
autometer oil press: $27
oil filter sandwich adapter: $20
downpipe w/ flex pipe: $80
and a bunch of misc new heat treated bolts, coolant lines/fitting, lock washers, clamps, etc that probably adds up to $30-40

that's almost $750 all together. and as you can see i got some pretty good deals... I guess I could have left out the sandwich adapter plate, but it makes installing the oil feed line WAY easier. and obviously, since you are obd1 already you wont need the conversion harness. those two things are close to $100. so i guess it's very possible to piece together a DECENT (good management and good oil lines at the least..) kit for $600. Just be patient and wait for good deals. AND DONT SLACK ON MANAGEMENT OR OIL LINES!

Oh, and plan on spending ATLEAST $100-200 MORE on what you think it's going to cost you. And now that I read your first post again, i don't think it's going to be possible with a fmic and charge pipes. have to consider clamps, couplers, custom welding the pipes, etc. and if you buy them pre made, it can cost anywhere from $100-200+
