ill be honest...i usually agree with you on most subjects....but name one reason why we should be giving kids toy guns.

kids are dumb enough to point a toy gun at an officer in a tense situation. they just dont possess the common sense yet. and hows a cop gonna know its fake...

Laws are designed to protect the dumbest people in our society.

You have a kitchen full of steak knives, right? What's to stop your kid from taking one of those steak knives and pulling it out on an officer? You're kid might play baseball and have a baseball bat, so what's to stop him from going after an officer with his baseball bat?

As a parent you have a responsibility to teach your kids about this ----. If your kid still doesn't listen and pulls a fake gun on a cop and gets his *** blown off, then it was his own dumbass fault. You teach your kid the dangers of things in life and to be smart in situations. If you don't, you have failed as a parent and the rest of the world can't do anything for you.

A 12 year old is old ebough to understand the dangers of pointing a gun at a police officer, or anybody for that matter.
