Default If at first you throw a rod... try try again. HMT #2

On a lazy warm sunday, most people read the paper, walk the dog.. or something along those lines. I ... put a turbo on my daily driver

I'm building up a B18C1 for my red DX now, and I decided that all thise D series turbo setup was a big waste sitting on the floor.

I have the only auto turbo civic running Uberdata.. to my knowledge. The red cover is from my other civic.. im taking my time on my white cover since its in good shape instead of rotozipping the ---- out of it like I did with the POS red one

I spy nitrous.

How well does the auto work?

BTW, those extra lines for the non-existant A/C do no good under the hood anymore. :P

The car had nitrous on it before the turbo for.. a long time. I'm still in the process of removing all that .. guy local bought the NX kit.

The auto works fine! I put a B&M cooler on it, and I think it should be good to go. I back out of the throttle a bit as it shifts to try and be nicer to the clutch packs. Its a total ----- off the line, but when it finally gets into VTEC and winds up the car takes off, it suprised the hell out of me how quick it is to be frank. To anyone else on here with an auto: use a cooler, or be prepaired to put a new transmission on .. QUICK.

I'll remove all the PS and AC lines left over this weekend I bought this car brand new and the ps/ac worked fine.. and it kinda broke my heart to remove them, but.. whatever ---- it I have a sunroof.

I've never seen another auto Civic HMT on here, ... not that this is anything to brag about.. but its different. Whats cool is i press the gas and it just pulls and pulls and pulls as it goes through the gears I'm already gathering parts for as manual tranny swap.

just out of curiosity what does the bov sound like? it's probably a lot shorter sound since it would be shifting quicker right? sorry i never heard a auto turbo car being driven before....

You dont hear the bov at all because you dont close the throttle. I only hear it when i back out going about 90 at the top of Drive-3 Once the car spools its always in boost until u close the throttle.
