the new mustangs and f-150s have electronic throttles. i have to drive an 05 f-150 for work, and i can honestly say the throttle response sucks ***. you can't power brake with it either. if you try to floor it while the brake is pressed it will restrict the throttle till you let off the brake. one of the guys i work with was bitching about it on his mustang. you have to do rolling burnouts at the drag strip, pain in the *** if you're using slicks.

maybe not a "D"18 but it is a sohc 1.8l

no itb's, if you look closely there is only one throttle body. those butterflys look like there part of a two stage intake manifold like they used to use on the gsr.
