I'd say just delete temp files and cookies, restart the PC and see if it works Maybe update your IE? I've been having troubles with mine losing cookies.. like, I had to log in a good 5 times today on HMT. Kinda makes me mad.

Just stop using IE all together...It has too many Security issues...Just telling you that. Even though i doesnt help you with the Cant connect to server. But overall its better.

Try disabling Negative DNS Caching.

Quick and easy fix:
Run this from CMD prompt: Ipconfig /flushdns or just Reboot computer

More of a permanent fix:

*this file will make changes to your registry. Don't do this unless you feel comfortable with it.

Switch to Firefox. I have been using Netscape and IE, and I switched over and I will never go back.

If you are using IE, you don't get tabs or anything like that.

Firefox > Netscape > IE
