once i finish putting my products together i want to put up a lil online store. what onlines hosting companies are good? right now i got a online account with godaddy.com, buy there site is so confusing. every turn i got tome trying to sell me extra ----. i prob wont have more then 20 products to start. id like to have around 30 pages in total. shouldent need more the 5 email accoyunts, i want it to be secure. and i want to be able to accept paypal. any suggestion? any opinions on godaddy.com?

I believe Tunertoys uses godaddy. I'm one of those people who doesn't know ---- about websites, so I just keep a close network of people who have a clue. My online store is all set up through paypal. It's the best thing I ever did. Once you set it up, people buy ---- all day and all night, and the minimum you have to do is answer questions in your email box/forums.

as far as making the website i got the people, i can do it. buy just finding the hosting and stuff is whats getting me. i def want the paypal checkout. everytime i see that somewhere it makes me want to buy something, lol

i was thinknig about carring hid kits, but i dont know how your pice is, if they arent cheaping then what they are going for on ebay, i prob wont touch tthem

use godaddy for hosting. works fine for me, and like Steve said, integrate paypal ----. It's easy as *****.

Yup, Paypal API makes it pretty straightforward to integrate. You could also add Google Checkout if you wanted, although I'm not sure how many people would use it. There are also a lot of merchant sites that will let you set it up.

I personally use www.1and1.com for my hosting needs. They have great deals and their service has never failed me. Comes with a lot of free software, built in website building programs, lot of features, plenty of bandwidth (I think I pay $10 a month for 2.5tb transfer and 250gb webspace), and I think they even have a tool to set up a store on their site. I haven't checked any of it, I prefer to have full control and do it myself, but the tools are available and customer service is good.

I think imburne also uses 1and1.com for his online store. I can do webdev if you have money
