hey lazy ***, cliff notes at the bottom

well I was just looking at my pimped out moped and decided
I was tired of getting beat by people on pedal bikes, So
i thought, why not turbo it, but then the obvious problems
of oil feed came to mind, so I thought,
---- that, I need to be blown,
so I went to my Girl Kaylas house
and you know, so when I came back home,
and my dragon was tamed, my mind was clear
and I thought hey, why not supercharge the damned moped?

So at first I thinking about getting a small electric

motor along with a blower assembly and just doing that,
make everything simple, then I realized I don't have space
for a battery, and who wants to have to be recharged all
the ------- time.

So next I thought, well why not hook up the blower to a
belt and run it like a cars supercharger. the only problem
with that is those blowers are awefully large, and I'm not
sure how good they are at taking high speeds.


So I was stumped, 5 mins later my friend calls about the
air/smog pump on his turbo 2 rx7, he wanted to know what
would happen if he removed it, I wasn't sure if turbo 2s
had 5&6 ports and ---- that ran off the smog pump, but at
that very second my mind clicked and I thought "damn shes
good, shes a keeper." so I told him "I wasn't sure, i'll
find out and call you back"

so well I'm researching about removing his smog pump on my
friends rx7, I realize I could use the damn thing or one
like it as a super charger, so I quit researching the ----
and told him it was fine to remove it,(hahahaha). and
proceeded to look for links on boosting small engines.

I came across a couple cool things...

This company makes super chargers for 5 hps raptor briggs
and straton engines, they increase the output by 50%, but
you have to get forged pistons, new cams bigger valves and other ---- to accomplish this,
needless to say the "kit" costs a woping 1000 and comes with a super charger, a new carb,
and all the other ---- you need, minus stuff to make
the motor able to hold much boost.




1000 dollars is alot of hoes, let me tell you, but the
website got me thinking "how the hell does she do that, I
better go back, im getting blue" So upon my return home,
again, It strikes me, how am i gona control fuel? since my
moped doesn't have a fuel pump, raising the fuel pressure
is out of the question, so what do I do?, richen the jets?
can't do that, damn thing is too old to by new jets for
it. So I thought of either getting a larger carb or
running a cold start fuel injector.


a couple hours later after smoking a gram of some of BCs
finest Bud oil, I Think about a Draw threw design, kinda
like the way my bong is set up. haha, anyway, I'm not sure
but I believe with a draw threw I won't need anything more?

So alittle more surfing and I come across this...


And gues what it is? haha, Bad *** to say the least.




Anyway, that setup uses a blow through design and what
looks like extra fuel tank for a oil resevoir, I don't see how that could work but who knows,
he's not using a wastegate either, hardcore.

So the turbo idea comes back in my mind, only problem is,
where do I get one that small, haha.

So I still need to know how to richen it,
It's going to be hard to regulate boost,
I'm gona use a supercharger concept, probly
with some sort of air pump.
I'll have to play around with it to get
the pully ratio right so I don't over boost.


How do I richen it? I'm gona use one of my many 2 stroke engines.

Durring the process of wrtting out this thread(i get side
tracked), my girl came over again(damn, teenagers and love
eh?) and we made brownies. haha, I ate those and decided
google was my friend, I found this thread on some unknown
board and well lets just say it's so full of inoformation

blower comes back to mind....

Damn you right a lot.. Thank goodness for Cliffs Notes. Anyways man, yeah, boost that ----, that would be awesome.

Make sure you document the entire process, and record video when one your buddies is flying down the road, loving the boost, and the engine blows up (because you did it wrong), he catches on fire and screams and runs into oncoming traffic and gets hit by a semi, and all of his reamins land on you.

I think I had this idea though about 4 weeks ago....
look at my thread, lawnmower turbo...or something like that...
for a blower, we came up with the idea of using a water pump off of some kind of V8, and use a belt system to use it. it would work and it would be bad ***. to control the boost, drill holes in the charge pipes! Let me know with what size turbo you think would work.....

lol, your idea sounds like " we where drunk and we thought about putting..."

the smallest widely(i mean cheap) availble turbo out there comes on those litte susuki forca or what-ever they are calleds, the whole unit is about the size of you fist, and the wastegate actuator is about the size of a canadian dollar. I believe that is the same turbo that your looking at on the grand national go cart up there^^^^.

I think a smog pump would work better then a water pump, but who knows, I'm proly gona either go the smog pump root or some sort of electric super charger. A turbo just seems like way to much work.
