Default I sucked up some water.

Hey everyone, We recently had a flood here and it caused my car to suck up to much water causing the car to die and now she wont' start. Things that I've figured out since it happened.

I've cleaned the MAF and the filter. I cleared all the water that was on top of the pistons and cleared the entire air passage way from the filter to the intake manifold. I've changed the oil and of course she had water in the oil. The car turns over just fine no weird noises etc so I doubt I bent a rod or broke anything. I doubt the block is cracked because no oil is under the car. It sounds like its trying to start but she just wont start. I have a check engine light but when I check it it gives me no codes-pass! And im getting a spark.

If anyone can give me some pointers on what I could be missing that would be awesome. The PCM didn't get wet so I doubt it's bad.

My car did this about 2 weeks ago. I was driving and all of a sudden (violently) it stopped running on the freeway. It showed a check engine light as well. I towed the car home, put ISO-Heet in the gas tank, changed my oil/filter, pulled my spark plugs and cranked it a few times (after pouring a little bit of oil down the plug hole). Put the plugs back in and started it up. I just let it idle for like 15 mins, then took it for a drive. Problem was fixed. Hope this helps. Oh yeah I threw Seafoam in the tank as well.

i may do that. I will get a thing of ISO-HEet and some oil to pour down the plug hole.
