I need a car....edit I GOT A CAR
Alright i just got a phone call from my sister saying that i'm not allowed to use her car anymore because i put 7000 miles on it in just about 2 months. I'm ---- out of luck, i have like 2 weeks (give or take) to get a car and i don't know what i want. I saved up a good amount of money in hopes to get an e46 M3 but now i don't want to blow it all on a car- plus insurance for that thing would be ridiculous. I don't really want to spend too much dough but if i find a good deal where when i sell the car i get my money and maybe some back i'll do it. BMWs and Benzs seem to have the highest re-sale value i can find. This car needs to be reliable and have a good re-sale market. I found a perfect 1995 M3 for around 12,000 that was babied but by the time i made up my mind the bastard sold it. Give me some ideas.... i know half of you are going to say a 1991 CRX and boost the ---- out of it-but when i go to sell that i'm not gonna get half of what i put into it. Thanks in advance guys.

buy a $4000 civic, they always have a decent resale value, but if your gonna drive 7K miles in 2 months, you arent gonna be able to re-sale anything with those miles.
you can never go wrong with a honda. everyone knows this.

I am not saying that all dealership mechanics are incompetant and that these independent places are just better some can be real shady, especially asian places, I'm just saying from experience
For example, trying to take advantage of warranty before it expired, took car into dealership (real one) and told them of a whining sound in the back, they took apart the differencial, and put it back together when the warranty company refused to pay the 15k tab.
Well they put the diff back together and put it onto the car, drove it and the car sounded like ----, took it back, they said the car was f'ed up anyways. The sound wasn't there when it was brought in and they knew it (took it in for an attempt to have the hydrolic suspension replaced).
So they checked it out, and finally realized it was a mistake on their part. The diff aren't made to go bad and really not made to take apart, but if you do there is a small pin you have to be aware of, and that is their mistake.
So ---- dealerships, they slapped on a brand new diff which was 5k for them. Dumbasses.
I hope that made sense, if not I'll read it over and edit it later.
