DO NOT get it welded, my friend has his welded and it held for 6 months tops. Those look like Motegi MR-7, they go for less then 150$CAD, so should be fairly cheap in USD$

See if you can get the city to pay for the wheels.

Seriously, a couple of years back, I rolled over a big *** pothole on the freeway in town (it was winter) and it popped my tire and bent my rim. My dad was pissed, he wrote a letter to the department that takes care of the roads, and eventually they paid for the wheel and tire...

...to the tune of $700. That's why he was so pissed.

any way u can get the town to pay for it? a friend of mine took pics of the hole, and the damage, and the town got him new rims and tires.... might be worth the try

if not u can get the only one with wavy wheels... its a fasion statement

^^^I would try this. I had a friend who bent his front axle off-roading and he called the city the next day and told them he ran over a saftey plate that was stacked three high and it bent his axle. They told him to get three estimates and they would pay the lowest one.

my buddy took a ruler and emasured it, and took pics. he got a new rim, and they filled the hole, so u wouldnt have to worry about it again

you can report the pothole to the city and have them buy you a new set of rims that what i did and they gave me how much i paid fer my rims including tax ....it only to a week to recieve to

I've been with a friend and we got pulled ovis reply, "I'm not ------ drunk, just trying to spare my ------ 18's from these pothole that the city wont fix because they pay you too much for eatin donuts!!"

Cop got REALLY pissed but didn't do anyhting. My friend hates cops because one actually re-ended him and ---- his WW Kit.

i got pulled over for the same reason, but mine was 17's...

i didnt say that 2 the cop tho, we kinda made a joke about it cuz it was 8 AM on thw way to work

i had a friend who had hit a pot hole just like i did and bent his rim, he said he went to the town to see if they would pay for them and they didnt, so i never tried asking. well i guess i should try, it couldnt hurt. so now i have to look for a pothole somewhere, because i got my bent rim on the highway comming back from Boston, and im never gonna find out where the hole was.
ok so where do i go to get this problem solved. the town office building? what did you guys do when it happaned to you. well thanks for the help guys/gals

by the way the rims are Katana VR-7's 17in.
